FD 213 Advance Sketching And Illustration
This module will help students depict original ideas in the form of illustration and will introduce you to the basics of kids and female illustrations and train you to use different drawing tools and mediums of colour. Students will also have a hand on stylized male and female croquis.
FD 214 Pattern Making & Construction –II
This module helps student learn the advance procedures of making patterns for production of garments for high end fashion. The module also guides students with constructing term garments using industrial machines.
FD 215 Draping
The module helps students understand to positioning and pinning fabric on a standard size dress form to develop the structure of a garment design. ... A dress can be draped using a design sketch as a basis, or a student can play with the way fabric falls to create new designs.
FD 216 Surface Ornamentation
This module will expose students to the different creative forms of needle works. Different materials like sequins, beads, cords with a wide range of colours are used to create interesting motifs.
FD 217 Fashion Merchandising And Marketing
The aim of the subject is to help you appreciate the unique aspects and concepts of marketing, retail marketing and visual merchandising. It focuses attention on the intricacies of apparel business.
FD 218 Fashion Show Collection
Students are groomed thoroughly to develop a collection based on a theme (from scratch to the end product). While developing the collection students understand the procedure of designing, garment making, styling, budgeting, and many more. The best part of this module is that students get exposure to the rush of the fashion show by interacting with renowned faces of the industry.
